SUMMARY

Worked closely with the CEO's to make a 3 minute advert depicting the company's new platform and features to be used on their new website.


MY ROLE

I was given a rough script and tasked with creating a detailed animated video, going through various aspects of the clients new platform. Here was the outline:

  • Roughly 3 minutes

  • Finish in roughly 6 - 8 weeks

  • Walks through different aspects of the platform in an easy to understand way

  • Keeps the companies theme and core values

  • Is visually interesting and engaging for the viewer

PROCESS

MOOD BOARD

  • I began with a mood board to help the client decide on the look and style of the video.

STYLE/ANIMATION TEST

  • After deciding on the style I constructed a short animation test to refine the animation style for the final video.

ROUGH ANIMATION

  • I then moved on to create a rough video with sketches of what the final might look like. After feedback was given I made a few different versions until we decided on the final look.

  • I continued to have regular meetings going through feedback and completed the final rough version of the 3 minute video.

  • I then got to work on the final animation and gave updates with opportunities for feedback which I would implement.

  • Assets were created by myself and some were provided from the platform.

ROUGH TIMELINE

  • I crafted a rough timeline and plan of each scene for visual ease of where I was up to and what needed to be completed still. This was tweaked so feedback could still be applied.
